  • An anthology of well delivered Horrors!

FULL MOVIE BELOW…

This short film is designed in 3 anthology segments which leaves you trying to figure out if they are connected or not. They are labelled Little Boy, Jacov and Inspector.

Little Boy displays some quite dark disturbing scenes of a mother passed out on a couch and in a filthy and grimy house littered with trash. Camera pans out to a reflection showing a young child standing next to the body before showing the outside of the house where naughty kids are vandalising the house. It leaves you mostly with more questions than answers. The segment does capture the creepiness well and the cinematography is brilliant but not much to dissect.

Jacov was stone cold horror at its best. The big “what would you do if you were in that position?”. The atmosphere is petrifying and this time around there is an actual story. We have a young journalist doing his nightly watch with his telescope and he comes across a window where a demon is in the middle of possessing someone, but then the demon spots him and decides to make its way from its building, across the street to his… the suspense is through the roof.

For whatever reason bro stays in his flat and waits for the demon to come all the way over, the way I would have been… let me chill because this story aint about me LOL.

It ends really well. It’s frightening, spine chilling and is one I’d like to see fleshed out into a full movie. Definitely the best out of the 3.

Inspector is packed filled with jittery and anxious scenes. There is a lack of story again but my interpretation of this was that it was connected to the Little Boy segment. The houses look similar, the spirit stalking him also looks like the little boy from that part. We have no idea what he’s investigating, there’s no dialogue and it ends poorly. Wasn’t a great piece.

All in all I enjoyed this movie. Of course some more than others but definitely some parts deserve the full blown cinematic feature film. The cinematography, the lack of script and anxiety were all well captured.

Which segment did you enjoy best? What would you do in those scenarios? Do you want to see any developed into a full film? React and comment below…
