I saw a tag line on a news article stating “Beyoncé-ENDORSED Burna Boy makes afrobeats go international” i laughed for a few minutes then got serious thinking you lot r Gona get Beyoncé in trouble for no reason 😅😂… after listening to the album I then understood the view of the journalist. If you’re a non afrobeats fan or listener and this was your first encounter with Burna Boy you are most likely to feel heavy RnB elements from this album. It’s a very smooth, wavy sounded project whilst African Giant had a raw African feeling to it. To some they will say he’s sold out and gone full commercial 🤷🏾♂️ for me it’s proof the talent is legit and shows his diverse levels of reach in music. It’s a full blown 🧰! What is meant by that is it has a bit of everything for everyone. It’s multi purpose… u can party to it, clean the crib or use it to drown out the moaning of ur partner ☺️
I’m a big fan of Diddy but can’t stand when he talks over tracks… come and rap or stand on the aside ah beg! Suge knights quote about “producers dancing up in your videos” comes to mind 😅
Any album u can just put on shuffle and kick back is a masterpiece to me.
