I really liked the this film. What I liked most was the format on the film. It acts as a biopic but its not exactly that. Yes we follow Bob through his life but the movie focuses on his mission rather than the controversies or personal drama round his life. So for example they touch on his adultery shenanigans but they don’t focus on it. we all about positivity and unity! The mission was love and in every scene there is an active display of love. I love that! Its an emotional tale bouncing between Bob’s childhood and current day and just his process of navigating life and music. Runtime clocking in at just under an hour I feel was perfect to tell this specific story. Film isn’t overly funny but it has its moments. Its like a splash of humour. After all it’s a drama. Strong messages around friendship, brotherhood, politics, family and you guess it… unity!
It’s a great movie. well told and the utilisation of music… epic! The whole cinema was tapping their feet and swaying from side to side… it was beautiful. Performances are well done, accents were shaky at times but we survived it all! Valentines day, book your tickets!
