If you liked Kingsman then you are going to feel right at home. I can assure you will be entertained no doubt whether the story is clear to you or not. The fight scenes are enjoyable and stays just on the right side of cheesy. There is one ice skating scene, watched it with a big smile on my face! Now the story, it’s an espionage tale focusing on the escort mission kind of format so as expected it’s all very covert. It almost slips into spoof territory because they realise push the boundaries of plot twists to the max. the thought of it is a minor joke in itself.
Bryce surprised me a lot with her choreography whilst Rockwell just owned it all. The cast are all decent but with the number of stars here it did just feel like they were there for the promo element. The confusing part for me in all this was the cat. It had no importance to the story yet it was plastered everywhere in the advertising. It was a weird decision.
All in all, it’s a decent watch. A cute comedy which messes with your intuition and makes it all light hearted and fun. Where you see Rob Delaney, you can just expect some hilarity. I’d say defo go see it on the big screen but remember the film doesn’t take itself too seriously so neither should you.
