  • CAN THESE KIDS LIVE UP TO THE BOYS?

The show does well to find its own lane instead of just living off the back of The Boys. it feels like high school, feels like its own entity. They are so many fresh takes when it comes to powers. Jordan’s was a standout. They played on the whole non binary “they” sexuality and gave it a decent dynamic into a powerhouse. He/She has 2 sets of powers dependant on whether they are in their male form or female form. You have another in Emma who needs to self harm in order to activate her seismic powers whilst suffering from an eating disorder.. They really got creative.

With it being high school everyoneeeeee seems to be experimenting sexually… hella bisexuals. Its a slow burner and it does take some time to build up. The storyline isnt as interesting as The Boys but it holds its own with loads of room to improve. Theres a lot of dull plot points and the dialogue suffers due to the lack of character development so it does pull it down a tad. Its an ok watch. It doesnt add or take away from the Boys… so in essence if you needed to watch just one I’ll say stick with Boys.

Who was your favourite character? Who do you think ends in the Seven in the end? What did you think of that cameo?
