The first film was brilliant, not the greatest sequel but I believe it’s a good lead up to the next film. The movie felt like a restart with minimal connection to the first film so newbies can pick this up with ease. Josh Brolin always a brilliant performer. I whole heartedly believe this guy is a killer in real life, world class actor, Benicio del Toro. His embodiment of the role (all his roles) is beyond levels. Feels very methody 👀
The use of sound here is well utilised. From the music scores to pulsating sound effects to enhance the tension in some scenes. The action is top tier due to the well divulged choreographed gun fights.
The plot starts well with a direction then drifts into a muddle of senseless brutal violence then goes full circle with a kidnapping etc just didn’t add up but there is something in there to follow along.
I’d recommend a watch but not cinema worthy.
Which movie did you prefer, the 1st or this? Were able to keep up with the story?
