A fun enjoyable movie emphasising on the joys of brotherhood. Almost the modern day Little Mermaid minus the evil witches and hunt for love. The standout in this movie for me is the colour palette. Utilised to maximum use. Very vibrant and summery. I’ve heard some imply it’s Pixar’s first attempt at a LGBTQ+ friendly movie but I feel it’s reach, nonetheless I loved the movie.
I found a lot of it quite funny and quirky. The art style is different and not your usual Pixar style which again let’s it stand out. Graphics does drop in quality at some point but nothing to crazy. Great voice performance from our upcoming young Hollywood stars Jacob and Jack. Captured the emotion and brotherhood excellently. A good message on friendship, forgiveness and taking a chance.
Recommended watch for all ages. Young ones will find it easy to follow.
Ps the graphics and realism display of pasta in this movie had me head straight to kitchen! Watch this movie and tell me you don’t crave pasta right after 😅
