This is a decent shot at building a universe subtlety and I hope they achieve that as the ground work set has potential. The grouping of vampire types, the whole hunter agency etc. a lot of spin offs or story expansions could be devised here.
Jamie still gunning to be an action man and he did a great job here. The choreography in this movie are brilliant. Some really good and creative kills. I was impressed. From the ranged combat, hand to hand and super power combat. It was all well put together.
The blend of comedy gave that extra flow to the narrative and made it run all smoothly. The story i feel was cute as it was a nice little twist. However a very very anti climatic final 3rd of the movie. This whole build up to a lacklustre final battle. Very disappointing.
Snoop being snoop, Meagan showcasing her Goodies… some very questionable camera angles on her shots ? but fair play. Franco is always good to bring the comedic value.
A not so bad buddy cop movie that brings the cheese and doesn’t shine in the story department but still a fun ride with the action packed scenes from beginning to end. Lots of potential…
