A debut outing from everyone’s lovable mutt Cosmo. Interesting choice for voice actor. This was an adorable run out. You could really see the full blown influence of Disney on the Marvel franchise. Although I can’t say it’s exactly for kids with all the adult themed language and content.
A nice, warm mini story to wet our appetites for the next phase incoming. The humour is as expected, excellent. James Gunn doing what he does best. The chemistry between Drax and Mantis lives on. It just spills Christmas, hugs, joy and Bacon. Lots and lots of Bacon. It was a cute cameo, strange but correlating plot point and I think it all came together and actually worked. Any story that involves a father and son moment will always get me nowadays so it was good to see Yondu again. RIP Yondu! ?️♥️
The combo of good humour, good music and a bizarre plot point makes it your typical Gunn cocktail. You get what you pay for on the tin.
The short duration makes it a cute warm up flick to prep you whatever your main course is going to be. It’s a recommended watch which doesn’t require you to watch the previous ones.
