Proof Godzilla is a female:
1. Spends most of the movie screaming in Kongs face
2. The only one of the Titans that scratches in a fight
3. SHE has the hips of a goddess 🤩🥰
Now once you notice her hips you won’t be able to unsee it 😂 the bout we have all been waiting for has arrived! The kings of the monsterverse! Now no disrespect to the actors but they were not needed in this movie. The plots surrounding them were flat, mundane and dare I say it unneeded. We would have enjoyed this movie without a single human. Give me subtitles and growling all day!
Traditionally every monster movie tends to have that 1 human that has some form of connection or interaction with the monster. This person is usually female and in this franchise it’s kids. The previous had Millie who I felt was shoe horned in as she had little to do but this one tries to force 2 little kids as front runners. WE NEEDED NO HUMANS! Even the comedic value of Brian was meh. I know I’m starting to sound anti human 🤦🏾♂️ and cos of these additional unnecessary scenes it really messed up the pacing of the film. Everything just felt rushed to all monster scenes.
Now the scraps between Kong and Godzilla were majestic. Every time they graced the screen you felt the force, the impact, the collision of Titans. A lacklustre villain but the heroes make up for it. I regret not experiencing this blockbuster in a cinema or even iMax setting. All in all just decent movie if you’re into your monster movies, could have been better with NO HUMANS. Bit more story depth and more monsters and it could have been epic status.
