A fresh take in the Batman universe. Very story and action orientated which is excellent. It actually features little of the Dark Knight himself and focuses more on the group which worked well. Michael Jai White and Kelly Hu stand out for me and portray their avatars with excellence. It helps that Michael portrays Bronze Tiger in live action. The art style is basic compared to most and more than watchable. The more supernatural lore and setting is a good suit rather than the more grounded realistic stories. Maybe I’ve been spoilt with joint universes and seamless connected story lines by the MCU and DC Animated Universe but I do think these standalone movies work well in their own space. Good watch, not exactly kid friendly but definitely one for DC fans.
