Speak No Evil 2024

  • SHHHH SPEAK NO...

Speak no evil adds to 2024’s library of really good psychological thrillers. It stands out for its nerve-wracking tension and bold storytelling. The film excels in its ability to create a sense of discomfort and dread that lingers long after the credits roll. James of course delivers a standout performance that is both captivating and deeply unsettling. His portrayal of Paddy is a masterclass in restraint and nuance, embodying a character who is charming on the surface but harbors a much darker side. James ability to shift from congenial host to someone far more sinister is seamless, drawing the audience into his complex and chilling persona. His interactions are laced with a palpable tension, making each scene he is in feel unpredictable and increasingly disturbing.

The back stories are dark and gritty. When the exposures start running… it gets really twisted and makes for some really good cinema. Watching Ant through this movie made for a hard watch. The kid really sold the role.

Speak no evil is a blast! Very recommended for the big screen. The tension it puts you the viewer through is nuts! Edge of the seat scenes, messy and vile reveals plus top notch performances makes for a successful remake! I havent seen the original so I cant fully compare. A good beginning, excellent middle and fantastic ending! KenKen says approved.

Is this James McAvoy’s best role? How many friends do you visit randomly on holiday? Will that marriage be saved? Should kids aged 12 still have their lucky toy… cos this one almost got everybody dead!!!
