Glorious action scenes but this focused a lot more on the detective side of the dark knight. Very story driven, thought out plot points, excellent plot twists. Although it slightly diverts from the graphic novel it still lands very well in its own right.
This new generation of voice actors have very well proved themselves and have made a statement that their here to stay. Animation was brilliant and different from the usual style. Your usual super powered villains make their appearance and all but I enjoyed the whole gangster level characters. Gave it a more grounded feeling and helped with the focus of detective ambience.
Although it starts very slow the middle and endings make up for it all.
