A cute romcom which typically delivers exactly what’s on the tin. Not many surprises but still enjoyable. Story is quite predictable but one thing that stands out are the laughs. There aren’t many when they come you will giggle. The movie is an easy watch, it’s fresh and funny and in the current climate we have been missing out on the cheesy romcom content. The plot I feel is dragged out with loads of “fillers” just to increase run time.
Charlie Days energy is always a pleasure to witness on screen. Always unmatched. I think his marketing value is what will pull people to this film.
Recommended watch. A nice, calm watch for this Valentines Day if you’re having a romantic day in.
