I enjoyed the film. It simply had Tiffany Haddishing and you can’t wrong with that formula. She totally outshined the main girl but is expected to be fair. Decent little romcom with some serious 21st century warning undertones there lol. How social media can be a dangerous place and you never know who you’re meeting till you meet them. Funny cameo by Chris Rock, always good to see his silly side. Good to see Omari in a lighter capacity than his “Ghost” character, although he was still a convict. Neat story that comes full circle eventually with a lovely final third. It’s a good watch for date night but definitely not if it’s a first date with someone u met online. Awkwaaaaaaaard 😂
Whoopi was my favourite character. Minimal lines but very effective and stand out.
I’d recommend it… you lose nothing if you miss it.
Moral of the story: don’t get catfished! Better yet, don’t catfish people.
