If you’re in a mood for a decent, kick ass type, brain dead shoot em up on a cold, quarantine evening and if it wouldn’t cost ya then I’d say go for it. Good beginning, meh middle, fun ending. Very different type of role for Mr Potter. If you have seen DeathRace you have seen them all, don’t expect much from the plot.
Our character finds himself bolted with firearms to his hands and literally forced to fight for his life. I actually take that back! If that ain’t a bluddy plot line I don’t know what is LOL. It’s an over the top, stylish, action flick. Pacing was all over the place as you getting some good shootout scenes then long stretches of no action which dulls down the whole tone of the movie. Daniel is still at his best and provides good comedic value… which some will say shouldn’t be hard especially when you have to do your day to day stuff with guns bolted to your hands LOL. It would have worked a lot better focusing on the comedy to be honest.
Still a fun ride to get through just for the adrenaline rush with all that’s happening. I do admire Dan’s range and his constant battle to shake the Potter franchise of him by diving head first into these type of impressionistic roles.
Highlight of the movie: seeing our very own Michael Ramsey compadre. These type of things feel so much better because when you have seen them grow and their talent blossom it’s epic to see… plus… she was really good!! Ramsey people you don’t have choice!! Go watch and support Racheal!
What did you think of Radcliffe’s portrayal? Reckon this could be made into a universe? React and comment…
