I saw this as the return of Shia Labouf… all though they did him dirty screen time wise I thought he was excellent. The first half of the movie was brilliant. Characters really resonated with me. I’m a sucker for characters that display immense levels of loyalty. The final 3rd dragged for me. The characters and story got real bland. Outright predictable. Interesting villain but just felt very shoe horned in. All in all it’s a decent film. Hoping for this to be a spring board for Shia to get back to his best. He’s been missed.
